The 2006 ornament
features the Twitchell-Rowland Homestead, which was moved from its original
site on Christian Street to 60 Towner Lane to land donated by Mr. & Mrs.
Fred Rowland. The Oxford Historical Society is working to preserve
the buiilding for use as a local history museum which will feature the history
of Oxford, the history of local agriculture and the history of water
power technology which gave Oxford it's early economic prosperity.
